McFerran's Fitness

There are a couple of reasons I'm opening this page back up. For past, present, and future Yoglates students, this is a place to get information on future and/or current sessions. I also want a homebase for people to share inspiring articles about the 7 areas of wellness. Wellness is much more than merely physical health, exercise or nutrition. It is the full integration of states of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The model used by our campus includes social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, occupational, intellectual and physical wellness. My bio: One of Kristy's joys grows from helping her clients become stronger in all parts of their bodies. Her passion is teaching physical fitness to develop movement control and a powerhouse core. Part of this enthusiasm is recalled from her history as a Division I athlete. Classes quickly become focused and energized, and Kristy's talent for pushing her students at any level shines through. Pilates and Yoga has become her forte due in part to how the body responds with strength and function. Kristy has taught Pilates around Maine, her MAT certification came via Boston Body Works, and the World Instructor Training School awarded her personal trainer certificate. In 2013 she become Les Mills Body Combat Certified, and in 2014 she became Les Mills Grit Certified. Ask her about her true calling, and she will tell you teaching fitness. Kristy's gift is her passion, and it will shine through to anyone who comes into her classes.
