We have clients that come from as far away as Traverse City and Manistee.
Our therapists are all competently trained in various modalities of massage. Each therapist truly loves to help people, and do their best to make each massage personalized for your needs. We have two private massage rooms which allows us privacy for each client and also allows us the capability of massaging couples either in separate rooms or together in the same room. We are also one of the only massage clinics in Northern Michigan that accepts insurance. The therapists have all been trained at state licensed and accredited schools and are members of the American Massage Therapy Association.
We are one of the only massage clinics in Northern Michigan that accept insurance. Unfortunately your Major Medical insurance like Blue Cross etc. will not pay for massage unless it is included in your physical therapy and the therapist is under the physical therapist roof.
However, if you have been in a car accident your car insurance (PIP) will pay for massages if you have a doctors prescription. Also, Workers Compensation insurance will pay with a doctors prescription. Please call us for more information on this service as there is a bit of information we need to process these claims.
Neck & Shoulder - a short massage (30 minutes) that targets your specific problem areas. Pressure will be discussed prior to the treatment. This massage can be performed with light, moderate, or deep tissue.
Swedish Massage - relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. Swedish massage is based on five basic strokes: effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, compression, and vibration to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the mind and body, enhanced mental clarity, and flexibility improvement. This treatment is perfect for those who need to relax and un-wind, it clears away tension in your body and stress on your mind.
Deep Tissue Massage - form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that after the treatment soreness maybe present, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Hot Stone Therapy - style of massage where heated stones are incorporated into the massage to deepen the relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Bamboo massage - a technique that incorporates bamboo stalks to provide deep-tissue bodywork. The sticks are heated and essential oils are used in the treatment to enhance deep sense of relaxation while promoting circulation, immunity, and deep tissue tension release.
Dry Skin Brushing - this treatment begins with dry skin brushing and follows with a full body massage using essential oils. Dry skin brushing is beneficial for exfoliating dead skin and improving lymph flow and blood circulation.

Chair massage - a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule. Onsite Chair Massage is also available as an addition to a wellness day/ event.
