Location & Hours
Founded in 1993, the Delaware Ducks are a non-profit youth ice hockey organization, committed to helping our children develop the skills necessary to play competitive travel ice hockey. We currently have Tier II travel teams for USA Hockey levels Squirts through Midgets, birth years 1999 through 2008 (note: for Mite and Atom hockey, birth year 2009 and younger, contact the Pond Penguins). Delaware Ducks travel team play is for the experienced skater with games being competitive and played to win. The Delaware Ducks are members of the Delaware Valley Hockey League (DVHL), an organization comprised of teams from Delaware, Southeastern Pennsylvania, and Southern New Jersey, with most teams being within a two-hour drive from the Newark area. The travel team season runs from September through March. Most teams have two evening practices per week with games on the weekends (usually one home and one away). Player evaluations are scheduled in April and are open to returning and new players.
