Local artist donna marie can refurbish a treasured piece of furniture and make it pretty again... Custom requests are welcome! I can revamp a yard sale find, or update an inherited piece that needs TLC...
If you need help decorating on a budget, donna also provides "frugal but fabulous" interior decorating services. Find your bliss at www.blissbydonnamarie.com...
donna marie also uses vintage elements, semi-precious stones, and Sterling silver findings to create lovely one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry.
By scouring local estate sales, thrift stores, antique shops, and flea markets, donna marie is able to repurpose antique elements for her artful creations. She also creates unique decorative items using vintage treasures to embellish mirrors and picture frames.
bliss started out focusing only on handmade jewelry, but donna marie is now sharing her passion for antiques by expanding the business to include all things vintage...
At her "blissful" booth at Summerville Antique Gallery, you can find handpainted antique furniture, vintage jewelry and purses, antique furniture, vintage toys, fine bone china, Victorian items, figurines and many other vintage home decor treasures.
About the Jewels:
All of the jewels by bliss are handmade using semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals, lampwork glass beads, painted porcelain beads, freshwater pearls, and also vintage materials. All ear wires and clasps used are Sterling, Bali, or Thai Silver, so the majority of my pieces are hypoallergenic. I love scouring Charleston's local thrift stores, estate sales, and antique shops for unique vintage elements... taking a piece from the past and working it into a completely new design is so inspiring!
