Bet my Lakers finally about to make some noise I say get PG13 and add some good FAs also draft ball then we have a nice solid young core
Is it possible to make them worse? Seems like his job will be pretty easy if he thinks his legacy will be based off of "improving the Lakers."
Michael Guzman Brandon Erickson wait...woa... a player that wants to sign with a bad team to make them great? this is unheard of these days!
4 time allstar. Your legacy is an average/good player, thay told teammates you had to be one to take last shot in game....then missed said shot 3 playoff games in a row
Lakers draft Lonzo, trade Russell for a big man/other assets, sign PG 13 in summer '18, become contenders in '18-'19. you heard it here first. Ali
I don't understand this, why in any world would PG pick lakers over Boston?
Wouldn't he want to go to the team who is in the conference finals and has the number one pick in the draft instead of the team who finished in the lottery and ended up with the second pick in the draft?
I know everyone says that LA is home for Paul George, but really isn't the grass a lot greener for him in Boston if he was to leave?
I would trade russel and randle plus draft picks in a heartbeat for PG. You need to surround Lonzo with shooters. Plus PG can be that takeover guy since lonzo is a rookie.
Lakers need to be aggressive and get him prior to free agency. There's too many other teams vying for him to pair him with other stars who could trade for him. Paul George may want the Lakers now. But if Boston trades for him and Pairs him with Isaiah or if Denver pairs him with their center and a star free agent, he won't leave those teams to join a rebuilding lakers.
Keep in mind, this is source leaked info. There could be other reasons. Can't always take rumors at face value
That we're talking about offseason moves in the middle of the Conference Finals is a testament to just exactly how boring this year's playoffs have been.
