it was totally BS this whole thing. I believe he knew exactly the reaction the school would have, not to mention it was a kit you can buy online, wasn't even his making but wanted school credit. it was just a way to try scam money.
Trying to get money out of this is a big spit on the face, to people who are actually in danger overseas, civilians and military personnel. It was like walking in to a classroom with a rifle replica and claim it's a social experiment, then try to profit from the obvious outrage, what a class act.
Excellent.....It should be the same treatment for EVERYONE that brings something to school that looks like a wired bomb....people would have been turned up if nothing was done....
Yay!!! I Am So Glad.Live In Our Country,Live By Our Laws. They Didn't Know If It Was A Bomb,All They Knew Was A Briefcase With A Clock Device.
With everything going on with bombs...his parents should have discussed his project with the school before allowing him to make it. I wish the school could sue them for the return of their legal fees.
This article says they moved to Qatar - true - but I thought they had recently moved back? I know I saw news stories that they were living back here again.
Thank goodness a court ruled this out. About time they quit giving into these frivolous suits. I agree they should counter sue to recover the money wasted here.
