My brother gave his 11 year old a phone . He's a single dad so he said it was for safety . Well he took it away when his son was not doing his chores and homework . His entitled son told the school counselor he was afraid of his dad . It got child protective involved . When his son saw how it was escalating he said I was just mad because he took my phone . If it was me the phone would be gone for good . I did it in the 90's with my daughters pager when she claimed to never get my pages . I destroyed the supposedly useless thing .
And....not ALL rich people are irresponsible parents , 14 is a perfect age. Freshman in High School unless circumstances call for them earlier at parents discretion instead of popularity
I like how this guy brings up his kids in a responsible way not like some rich men who spoil their kids when they are young and then they regret in future.
He has given so much joy to all sorts of people how clever was this man thanks for Microsoft and may you and your family live a long and happy life 😀😚
I don't blame him why do they need it . He's rich he knows they'll be safe they probably have bodyguards or are home tutored . It's ridiculous seeing 10 year olds with iPhones
Neither did I. Why do they need a phone that young. Who are you calling. What is so important that you need a phone. Your life is not that freaking important. If you need to call someone about a question they can use my phone and I'm right there with them
I was amazed at Bill Gates stating that he demanded that Mrs May not to cut the Overseas Aid as people would die. "Demanded" I thought Mr Gates!!
Kids are too spoiled and dependent on electronics these days! I limit my kids iPad time to usually a few hours a day and never at the dinner table or restaurants. Teach them young. Once you allow it, it's hard to reverse the behaviors you once allowed.
Good ol` Bill - I did not allow my daughter or son a smart phone until they were 14 either, my reasoning being that these social media sites do have people on them who are just nasty. I wanted them to be able to just brush off the nasty elements of the Internet and social media .....
Now I get why his kids neither get into trouble nor make headlines for the wrong reasons. Good parenting I guess. (although I would go nuts if I didn't have a phone until I was 14 tho)
