We don't need stronger gun laws. We need for the existing laws to be enforced. We need for agencies to do the legally required reporting. We need for agencies to investigate credible reports of potential violent acts.
Keep it up kids! Mom's and Dads, stand with them. It may take some time but this is how you bring change. I am with you. #enough
The GOP haven't listened to the adults in this country, kids, you're our only hope to bring some common sense to Washington. But you have to make yourselves heard every day until real action is taken, not just promises. Don't forget, don't loose the anger you have today only to have it return in a month or two or three. Lets hope you have better luck than the adults in this country.
When this generation takes over there will be nothing left of our country's origins. The Socialist States of walking on eggshells will be all thats left. Most of us like our individual; state and federal laws and rights surrounding firearms. Further Federal legislation on guns would be unconstitutional, approach your local and state governments for change. Also it is the job of our local, state and federal policing angencies to control the flow of firearms, if they cant do the job now what would make you think restricting ownership and usuage laws would change?
There is some hope that finally Washington will listen. However, I am somewhat skeptical still, because Republican lawmakers had no problem ignoring the screams and broken-hearted cries of the Sandy Hook parents.
Gives me so much hope to see the next generation upholding the American values! A new dawn is for sure on the horizon! Sad that the older supposedly responsible adults have forgotten their ways! Must be all the glitter and gold blinding them!
...and trump will be delivering the key note speech at the NRA national convention in Washington on Friday. That pathetic excuse for a man has no soul.
It really does feel like the sixties and early seventies all over again, we even have this generation’s version of Nixon and instead of the war killing the Young abroad we’re killing them here at home.
I'm wondering, did this whole "They're taking our guns away" hysteria that occurs after every large mass shooting, exist before Obama became President? Because I can remember there being many mass shootings before he went in to office (remember Virginia Tech?) yet I don't remember people saying that too much back then. Oh, maybe it's because the right wing picked up on the bias that existed towards Obama, and found a great opportunity to market themselves? Hmmm.
I bought a gun. It took me a week to pass a background check and be able to pick it up. Are they going to lie there for a week?
