I am still thinking about that scene where jon snow is pulled into the frozen lake by the wights. How the heck did he not get killed then? Then that one black cloaked wight that gives him a horse to escape...like there were over a million of those wights. You mean to tell me that one wight staved away the other million? I starting to think maybe the king wight is related to jon. Like maybe that's the wight of his biological father or something. Or maybe the lord of light brought him back to rule over seven kingdoms as well as the army of the dead. Keep in mind jon was killed and brought back from death. Maybe the wights still perceive the "death" portion of jon
I stop watching GOT after the dragon died and became zombie dragon. I knew somebody would die in this season but couldn't believe they killed the dragon 😭.
Whoa whoa whoa hold up everybody. What if Dany decided to head out to help Jon north of the wall before the scroll was sent? Like 8 hours after Jon left Drogonstone. Do we have confirmation that Dany left right after receiving the scroll? I watched and listened to the episode multiple times and don't hear Dany or Tyrion talk about a scroll arriving by a raven.
The time line for that whole sequence just didn't seem to make a lot of sense... it would make more sense if Jon and the others had to be on the run from the nightwalkers for a few weeks so gentry could run back.. then word sent via raven could be sent to Daeny. Had the group been stranded on that lake for weeks without the walkers moving in, wouldn't they have starved to death by then?
Overthinking things I know, but that's a misstep in the storytelling
If they wanted the dragon death to mean more it should have been Drogon. You know, the one that has had more than 5 total minutes of screen time and the audience has invested in.
GoT was not shy about killing of main and semi-main characters. But now that GRRM isn't holding their hands, it's becoming a little more "Hollywood".
Jon snow and khaleesi will rule together with two dragons by her side . And her armys and jon snows armys hopefully all hell wont break loose because jon snow as bend the knee . Game of thrones would be a let down if the white walkers take over .
Heart breaking is a pretty strong word. Her reaction seemed to be little more than minor inconvenience as she watched one of her supposed 'children' plummeting to it's death.
In a truly joyful scene, Tormund flirts outrageously with The Hound until he bristles:“You want to suck my dick? Is that it?” “Dick?” “Cock.” “Ah, dick! I like it.” “I bet you do.”
Then Tormund lists all the things he loves about Brienne of Tarth. Truly, we are too blessed. “How did a mad fucker like you live this long?” Clegane asks.
It's crazy how there have been so many deaths, GOOD men and women too, in this show...but Viserion's demise struck my heart harder than that ice spear, and may be the saddest death (besides Ned and Ser Barristan) so far (in my personal opinion of course).
At least they are not dragging everything out over the entire season this time; like a stupid was soap opera. Something has actually "happened " in the episodes so far.
