I had a medical procedure done a few days ago on my knee and I've been laying low since. To help me withstand the down time, I've been binging on "The Office." One of my favorite attributes about Pam is how she expertly and quietly rescues or covers for Michael Scott's ineptness, often!
Hard to believe there are 10 good moments when she wasn't toying with Jim or lying her way into a new job. Mrs. Bob Vance all day!
Omg the finale where she talks about beauty in ordinary things, with that music in the background and that shot of Pam's painting cutting to the actual building. Teary eyed just thinking of it!
I think Jim asking Pam out at the end of season 3 was a pretty iconic moment for the series.
Before I even watched the show (yes, I came along late into the series), I saw the face she makes on a commercial. You could see the excitement in her face and just knew something big happened.
So, when I finally got to that part after a good solid binge, I cheered 😊
I'm watching S5 Ep. 17 right now Pam and Michael have just arrived as Nashua. Here's what I don't get. WHY DOESN'T THIS SHOW COME BACK?! Freakin Fuller House did and it's doing really well.....The Office is 10,000,000,000,000,000 (look at all those zeros) better!
Watching the entire series again for the 4th time - just have to love Michael G Scott, even when you absolutely hate the person that he is!!
There are some other good moments that were not mentioned. Like when she changed her position from sales to office manager, the quote after talking with Gabe, saying that having to stay up and watch poker, she learned you play the opponent not the cards. Knowing Gabe wouldn’t call her a liar worked in her favor.
When she took Dwight on with his crazy building cost cutting measures and how he was concerned for a minute, till he drove to the empty lot. But even Dwight had a soft spot for her, when he overheard her conversation with Jim about feeling like a failure and helped her find the clause that required him to undo everything he had implemented.
Am I the only person who doesn’t like Pam and Jim? I literally love this show for everyone but them.. and Phyllis.. and especially Toby 😂
The company picnic episode. Where she's so good at volleyball. I love her comment about playing in high school and college :-). She found out she was pregnant at the end of that episode.
I was laughing about myself for crying over something little today and thought about when Pam says, "having kids makes you so soft...I used to watch Pulp Fiction and laugh and now I just think 'that poor gimp is somebody's child!'"
