We took our little guys helmet to a company that does car wraps and had his helmet done. Turned out great and they were super understanding that we had to have it back in 24 hrs.
We ordered decals for our sons. Also had one that said fixing my coconut.
I painted my LO's as well. Mine obviously doesn't line up to these; but I tried to make her look cuter than ever to deflect the stares.😆
There is a lady near Charlotte, NC that paints them. She painted my sons and does a great job!
My little pumpkin's came with a design! We used it as a blessing to meet and educate people on Congenital muscular torticollis and plagiocephaly. Everyone said how cute she was and we even made some life long friends with the conversation it sparked!
My granddaughter just painted free handed her son's, his daddy was football coach
So sweet!! My grandson wears one and we did stickers!! On the back it says " You should see the other guy"
Our daughter's was wrapped by a wonderful owner of a car wrap shop ❤️
This is our granddaughter- a dear friend Trista made Velcro 🎀 ribbons in every color! Our daughter EElizabeth Millsputs stickers on too!
We ordered from Blingyourband.com and I painted it my self, they have a tutorial on their website to tell you how to paint it. The decals were pretty inexpensive under $30, and they have tons of options.
Years ago, my daughter's came with a cute butterfly pattern, nothing like these painted ones though! She's 7 now with a nicely shaped head :).
Didn't take my little guys helmet anywhere special, but the company offered multiple choices. Logans had a carbon fiber braid look.
My son was born with craniosynostosis and he had skull surgery at 1 month old, he wore a helmet for 4 months after that! He had a clear helmet but if we were able to paint ours it would've been painted! We put stickers on his helmet!
My son's helmet 8 years ago came with a design. I think if we had another child that had this I'd get it wrapped by a place that does cars to personalize it more.
Brian Snelling...look how cute these are!! What a wonderful thing this artist is doing for these babies!! Ben would have looked super cool in a Georgia helmet!!! At least we had his decorated!
We looked everywhere for a company willing to do our helmet and ultimately did not find anyone and didn't want to pay to have it done so what I did was order skater stickers from amazon for very cheap and did her helmet myself. It turned out great and was easy to do.
We had an amazing artist paint our son's helmet! I'm so happy there are people out there to help turn them into something so special!
People can be so rude and cruel. This woman is lovely for making things just a little better for these parents who already feel so badly about a condition that's no ones fault!
I love the one with the Velcro bows, and her little dolly had a helmet too. I love that people are having fun with this, while educating others.
My daughter has Craniosynostosis and would of needed a helmet if we went with endoscopic surgery. We decided to have CVR instead and didn't need one. She does an amazing job and definitely would of went with one of hers!!
So cute! Our Adam worn this kind of helmet for his plagiocephaly due to torticollis for almost 6 months when he was a baby.
The clinic that made my baby girls had 100's of different designs to choose from. It was nice to bring some cuteness to it. We still got stares, because people are curious. 1 little girl loudly said to her momma what happened to that baby? The mom was mortified and apologised. I pulled my babe from the infant seat and let the little girl come up close to see. I then explained what the helmet was. Mom left with a smile and no longer embarrassed and the little girl left knowing it's okay to wonder and ask.
I have this!! lol the helmets apparently weren't "a thing" when I was little (born in 1995, turning 22 soon!) and it looks so weird whenever I see myself to the side in pictures 😂
My son had one. My son had Plagiocephaly too. I used to get annoyed with my In-laws always asking me scientific measurements of the helmet. I had no clue Because the helmet was cosmetic. My son's head was crooked therefore he needed the helmet to reshape it. Simple as that. I decorated my son's helmet with fun boyish stickers.😍👍From what I recall you have to get the helmet before the child is 1 year old or else the child will either be stuck with a crooked head or have to undergo skull surgery like puzzle pieces being put together.
This is amazing. My now 18 year old son had to wear a helmet when he was 4 months old. I had have a lady walk up to me at the grocery store and asked me what was wrong with him. Nothing....he's perfect was all I could say...
Awesome artwork. A real opportunity for beginning artists also or anyone with some artistic ability could transform their child's helmet. The sky is the limit.
Wow! Wish they had been like this 17 years ago. Our son's helmet was clear, full and just plain bulky. Glad someone cares enough to do this. Great idea!!!
This so awesome my daughter wore a helmet when she was a baby , shes now 14. Theses designs are great, hers was plain white!!!
I think that awsome. We had ours made in Alberta canada and we picked out the design before it was made and it came with it built in so we could wash it and keep it clean it was awsome.
This is the day our Kesse girl got her helmet...From day one she loved it!!...Such a trooper...And as a bonus mommy didn't worry so much about her falling down when learning to walk or playing rough with big brother!!
