There should be a rule in the adoption world that twins aren't separated, it's bad enough that siblings are separated, especially identical twins....imagine walking in a store to run into someone that looks exactly like you?! Don't separate them!!!!!
I hope these families make an effort to keep these girls close.
Ok, I cried!!! I have twins, and their bond is incredible. I cannot imagine them not having each other. These beautiful girls never should have been separated!
I have 2 sisters I adopted in 2008. They're 22mths apart 10&12. Their bond is amazing! Makes my heart so happy seeing them together. I wish they was a way to make sure siblings stayed together through adoption.
Can everyone help get this trending I would love Ellen to hear her story and help spread awareness
Dear Ellen, My name is Kody. Two years ago one of my very close friends, Kristi, started having numbness and pain in her foot. She went to the doctors and they told her it was a vitamin deficiency. She kept going back and telling them it was not getting better. The doctors told her it was just her body and sent her to specialist. In early 2016 one of the specialists found a lump in her foot and surgically removed it. They tested it and found out she had sarcoma cancer. It was pretty severe to the point they had to act fast and amputated her foot two weeks later. She found out that all this could have been avoided if they did the right testing from the start and she could still be walking around on two feet. Since then Kristi quit one of her jobs because they could not accommodate her needs and the other job is closed due to being seasonal. She is fighting to get disability which keeps getting denied. She has not been able to make her car payments, insurance, and rent. She currently sleeps in her parent’s living room because she cannot afford to pay rent at her home. Kristi kept her amputated foot and has been staying positive by posting humorous pictures on her Instagram onefootwander. She has been bullied online, and more. Despite what she has gone through she stays positive and treats everyone with compassion. I just want someone to show Kristi the love, kindness, and care that she shows for everyone else and share her story so that everyone can see that no matter how bad things are there is always a beacon of light. Please help me find a way to help Kristi out!

The adoption system sucks brothers and sisters should remain together twins should remain together and we should be able to adopt children in this country for a much more affordable price rather than go outside the country
You know, if I had a twin out there and I was meeting them for the first time ever, I sure as hell wouldn't want a camera crew and a bunch of strangers hanging around gawking at me. They should have been able to meet in private and get to know one another first, before being shoved in front of an audience. Shame on the parents for taking that away from them. I couldn't and wouldn't let them live apart for one more second....but what do you do when you have two families, two different states, two separate lives? I hope at the very least they move near each other. They should be able to see each other every single day.
Twins have that special bond! You can't even explain it it is truly a twin thing. You know what your other half is feeling you sense it you sense everything good and bad! It weighs on a twin I could not imagine feeling that out there and knowing something was missing and then find out you really do have a twin! What an amazing story for these beautiful girls. They have each other again 💜💜
I think it was totally inappropriate to have their reunion live on Good Morning America. They should have had a private reunion and maybe an interview afterward. They looked so exploited to me.
While I am HAPPY for the twins and wish them the BEST, not all twins identical or not are not always close. I have an identical twin and she may be blood, but I want nothing to do with her ever! I do not consider her family and never will! I rarely say never, but in this instance it is NEVER!
I watched this and it made me cry. It was so fascinating to see how similar their mannerisms are, how they held their hands to their faces the same as they cried. Very touching.
This is so sweet and I'm so glad they found each other but I don't think the first meeting should've been done on national television. It was clearly a very emotional and overwhelming moment for the girls. Just my personal opinion but I wouldn't want the world watching during a moment like that and then to be followed with a bunch of questions. But again, so so happy for them.
I watched this in the morning, Awaiting to see the Charlie Sheen interview and after seeing how the network exploited these young ladies by showing them meeting for the first time on national TV I had to change the channel. The things networks will do for rating is appalling.
Having twins myself, I could never imagine separating twins to begin with. They have such a strong bond that No-one else can even imagine - so sad that they were split, but amazing that they are finally meeting eachother ♡
I will say that I'm glad that these girls have found each other and I hope that they'll be able to forge a healthy relationship. I am disappointed in the parents of these children though. Adoption is incredibly difficult for everyone involved, and the last thing that these children need is for all of us to be voyeurs during a special moment that should be private.
So glad the mom found the other sister. I have identical twin girls who will be 15... so happy for those little girls they will always have each other.
That should be unacceptable in the adoption process (give in adoption the twins to different families ) I was watching this video with no audio because I just want to focus in the girls reaction and I noted they don't even touch each other when they're was sitting..... I hope these families can work together for a healthy relationship between the sisters ❤❤
I'm so happy for these little girls to find each other, and very sad they have missed out on so much. Thanks moms and dads for being diligent in making this hapoen💞
Remember where these girls r frm.siblings in us aren't always adopted together. I thought it was positive that Audrey's mother did such extensive research.what a gift she gave her.watching with my adopted son this am he wanted to know about if he had siblings?the only answer I could provide was that we had written to state with permission to be contacted if anyone wanted to find him and that is all we were told we could do. I have 2 adult adopted and they don't and have never wanted to get in touch with bio family and I know where they might be..the bio family in their lives have always known and never contacted.it was wonderful this morning to see the girls reunited.my children were frm our neighbor hood.
They were on Good Morning America this morning... adorable.. so thankful they found one a another this early in life.. happy tears
Sad that after the show they will again be separated by distance . Twins should never be separated in adoptions. Families that want to adopt should not have to pay double the adoption fees because of receiving twins either!
Did anyone watch the Netflix documentary on the twins who were adopted separately and lived in two different countries? I loved how their story ended and it's a great watch as well. Siblings should never be separated
Poor girls. So cute! I hope they stay close to eachother. So heartbreaking!
They should never be able to separate twins. I couldn't imagine if that would've happened to my identical twin sister & I. I hope they keep in contact with each other.
As a momma of twins I just have to say....shame on their birth parents and shame on the adoption agency for separating these girls!
Shame on these parents and on GMA for exploiting these little girls and this very private experience. Horrible.
Lovely girls but I feel sad that Americans still don't see fit to adopt their own. So many kids spend their childhoods in foster care while people baby shop overseas.
I will never understand who would ever think it's a good idea to separate twins at birth. Causes lifetime issues for the twins!! Ignorance!
Who is cutting onions in here!??!?!
Seen this live this morning ... It was beautiful, and yes it brought tears to my eyes. So happy that their back in each others lives ...
