I can do that with my lg g4 (which is 2 years old) to unlock it. Its not new and who cares anyways? Unless you're having a face transplant I don't see what the big deal is?
I gotta big ass beard....guess I'm out!!! No infrared light getting thru my beard to recognize this face...oh well the beard stays, phone can kiss my ass!
Make sure you keep your face intact while you have your iphone x...no face surgery..and worst when you get robbed and have your face beaten badly and deformed and tried calling 911...lmao
It's only a problem if you don't know that by taking selfies on Snapchat or whatever and sending them out you're already putting your face out there...
I'll just use the good old password key, which is what I currently use. We shouldn't be force into normalizing any type of biometric identification in our society.
It's only bad news if you think that a face scan is somehow more private than all the other info mined from us by tech giants. Which would explain how you're stupid enough to drop $1k on a phone.
When I travel and have to show my passport, I go on the Q that uses facial recognition. Nothing new here. The only reason I’m not buying is because I don’t have that kind of money and my phone is working fine
Yea but it wouldn't really matter because ever since you got a smart phone they know your face. This is just an easier way. Fuck it I gave up on the camera shit along time ago.
With all that's going on it looks better to go back to the arctic and leave everyone else to do what they do best and wait out the storms
Newsflash Anonymous, but most smartphones now can collect a myriad of user data, and apps can do the same, metadata for users and devices are logged systematically. Which is why when you see ads on your mobile, they are intended for you many times by being something you at one point showed interest in.
This is nothing new.
