All I know is he was a good actor his character added a layer to the story he contributed to making the series entertaining and it's sad that he passed away, he was a human being and those close to him lost a friend and a family member Rip.
I don't understand why there is not more on social media about this. I was shocked to learn about this (with that said I don't watch cable). His acting made me want to hang out in a vampire infested place just to befriend a character like Lafayette. I also love Dropbox him on Elementary.
"Jesus and I agreed to see other people, but that don't mean we still don't talk time to time" ~Lafayette
He was such a talented actor and one of my favorites on TrueBlood!! Rest in peace Nelsan Ellis ❤️
Really? "Many considered [it] an analogy for gay rights"? Yeah, that's probably because the show beat us over the head with that analogy. Wasn't exactly a tough code to crack, you guys.
Soooo sad he was a very good actor Nelsan as Lafayette on true was always so funny he had humor and compassion for everyone. God bless
"Who ordered the burger deluxe with AIDS?! The next time you come up in my house, you eat my food the way I FUCKING MAKE IT! Tip you waitress."He'll be missed😢
I actually thought he was gay for while, his acting was that good, right on point. Then as Shinwell, he made you feel for him and his situation. You felt thevgood in him.
And to think, his character died at the end of the first book and should have at the end of season 1. Possibly my favorite detour from the book series. :'( He was amazing.
Come on people... his best scene was when Eric healed his leg and he started "air fucking" the chair and yelling Bacon baby bacon baby... Or when the waitresses were at the food pickup area and he started talking smack about what the girls are missing and red was saying "peaches and cream, peaches and cream. The look he gave her was priceless! He was an amazing actor and owned every role given to him! RIP!
true blood is brilliant he will be miss he play is part brilliant we watch all season shame their no more brilliant vamp seasonthe best ive seen
